Haven't watched a pokemon episode,since I was a teenager,but I wanted to say I drew him...at least once..Gonna make a alternate version with Ash Greninja soon.. be on the look out for it.

in my personal opinion, I think ash should of used different pokemon the kalos league every time. like his sceptile would of made a great conversation with sawyer and wouldn't it of been cool if ash his charizard fight alains and even though it lost, charizard went up against a mega? SO MANY MISSED OPOTUNITY'S!!!

About sets Sceptile alredy know leaf storm and Charizard knwo steal wing.
But i agree with Dragon claw and Greninja's set. ut if return, Sceptile and Zrd probably get his dragon claws.
In my opinion Ash should use Piachu, Charizard, Sceptile, Infernape, Greninja, Snorlax.
Ash's Sceptile hold agains Deoxys and Beat high leveled darkrai. he should beat Sawyer's Sceptile easy, even in Normal vs Mega battle. Ash's Zard have huge experiences, and also fough with legendaries (not that strong as Ubers like Darkrai or Deoxys, but still).
And with this team in my opion would win agains Alain.
Just look at Alain's team: Weavle, Bisharp and tyranitar, Infernape's Fighting type moves would wreck it. Metagross? Strong, but Flare blitz would beat it.
And his abnormal powerfull blaze.
Even when Charizard beat Greninja, Ash's zard is still very strong, and would finish weakende Alain's Zard.

well. sceptile knows, quick attack, solar beam, leaf blade and I'm guessing bullet seed. and he doesn't know leaf storm. charizard had wing ATTACK, and had slash and dragon tail at the end of best wishes.
honestly if I was ash I would have a set like this
Pikachu: volt tackle, thunderbolt, quick attack and iron tail
charizard: flamethrower, dragon claw, flair blitz and thunder punch
sceptile: leaf storm, leaf blade, dragon claw, quick attack
samurott (ash might fully evolve oshawott, and since greninja is leaving...I really want to cry XS...BUT IM GONNA GET THE DEMO TO GET ASH GRENINJA): mega horn, razor shell, hydro pump and ice beam.
infernape:...his move set is good enough
...im gonna go with krookadile: dragon claw, dig, stone edge and aerial ace (I LAUGHED WHEN I SAW HIM FLY XD)

Sceptile show leaf storm agains Darkrai (sadly miss) and Charizard steal wing agains Brandon.
About Greninja, In my opion Like Charizard, Squirtle, Goodra and Gliscore, greninja will return in 7th or 8th generation. Greninja is very popular, many poke fans just love Ash's frog, in think Greninja would be"New charizard", and return agains Legendaries or strong megas.
In my opion
Pikachu: Pikachu: volt tackle, thunderbolt, quick attack, iron tail
Charizard: Flamethower, seismi toss (weak in game on charizard, but in anime is OP as fuck), Dragon claw, Steal wing
Sceptile: Leaf storm, Dragon claw, leaf blade Acrobatic (Sceptile with his agile and speed should easy teach it)
Greninja: Aerial ace, night slash, Water shuriken, Ice punch
Infernape: Agree, Infernape's set is good eought
Snorlax: Body slam, Ice punch, Earthquake(umm just jump?), Crunch.

yeah but the issue is, greninja is leaving. after a new scene we saw. greninja mastered the power and is now stuck in that form, and ash is gonna release it (well it said fairwell ash greninja but I think its implying the team, not the form).
so ash has to evolve oshawott ash teach it ice beam and mega horn, or he's gonna have to evolve totadile and corfish
plus goodra is pretty good. its his only fullt evolved pseudo legendary and if he taught it a few new moves it can come in handy. HECK I USED GOODRA AND ITS AWESOME. but the issue is its gonna go back to the swamp. so only talon flame, hawlucha and voivern are going to oaks lab.
WAIT HOLD ON WE CAN'T DETERMINE HIS FINAL TEAM YET!!!, I know he's going to school in alola, BUT HE COULD STILL CATCH SOME POKEMON. I'm thinking he'll catch. rowlet, litten, the poison fire type salamander, that kowala, the new flying type bird and maybe wishy washi, but I think he's gonna need a better water type.

Yah, Ash probably release Greninja, but in my opinion frogg still return in next generations.
But even without Greninja, Ash still have very strong pokemons, and can make very strong team.
But it would be great if ash get samurrot, i liek samurot so much.
Also, i agree about goodra, goodra is good pokemon, nic stats and very good movepoll. But Ash's Snorlax ave much more experiences, and is overall ridicolous strong (tanked 50+ focus punches, never lost agains single oponent etc.).
Current Ash's best team would be Pikachu, Charizard, Sceptile, Infernape, Greninja and Snorlax/Goodra/Krookodile.

also I hate to say it, but in death battle, they should of waited for ash greninja and they should of done, war greymon vs ash greninja. THEN THE QUESTION WOULD BGE ANSWERED.

Ash better win the Pokemon League this time so that we could finally break away from the usual format that the anime has done for the past few decades.
