Ok, this is what I have been working on.However, since this is my first animation, I made a big mistake about creating it. I did not realize that shrinking it down to 50x50 would blur it all out into a dozen additional colors, thus making it too big of a file to use.
The next step I am going to do is to clean this up frame by frame. In all this is 36 frames. If I can make the file small enough, I will do the final fixing on the Jolteon section. If not, I will ask that avatar artist what I should do.
And yes, hopefully this will be my entry for . If not, I will make another one since then I will be more experienced.

I am truly mesmarised by this! I love how the sparks all chage and morph to make the letters! I know how hard it is to do one of these (I get half way through and give up)! Amazingly done!

Yah... and right now, in order to make this able to make it able to enter the contest, I have to go back and redraw every single frame. It is so annoying... ._.

Wow. This is amazing. If the shrinking doesn't work so well, you could always cut the pic down so that it only shows the Joteon's head. You might want to make less bolts of electricity when you size it down- the sheer number is kind of over crowding even in this large piece. I love the way you drew Jolteon so it looks more like a dog...kind of makes in more real.

Hmm... Here I have a critique: after the white frame, the next one freezes like 1/4 or 1/2 second. I meant the white frame after Jolteon executes it's attack.
That is all I can see. I still love it! ^^
If you want a suggestion for the Espeon Fan Club's icon, you can do a front view of Espeon, she closes her eyes (yeah, I see Espeon as a girl

Freezes? It does not do that on my computer. =/
I already know what the icon for EFC would look like. It will have Espeon jumping in from the top right corner. As it lands, the screen will zoom in on its face (it will blink sometime during the zoom in). There will be a short pause then it will zoom out slightly as Espeon twirls around sending its fork tail across the screen with each end going off the screen. As it goes by the words "Espeon Fan Club" will appear with them drifting down a little then fade out. If there is still enough room, I will make them fade out individually. The background will still be the same flat color and then it will start all over again. No flashes will be in this animation.

If I can shrink it down to the required size, I think I will crush them mercilessly. Only reason I would loose is because it is too flashy.
Oh, if I did not tell you already, this kind of icon is what I had in mind for the *EeveeFanClub and especially the ~EspeonFanClub .

PS: You know it's possible to shrink it without getting new colors?
At least in Adobe Photo Shop... There's a option called "Nearest Neighbor", thou it still would need some tweaking afterwards at least it doesn't make the file bigger

I think that looks great, but the font I think is kinda boring. Half the fonts computers come with are lame.
I think the pokemon font would fit a pokemon club, and you can find that at fontfreak.com
Other than the font, I love this ^^

Bah, I do not feel like trying to mess with fonts again. I just wanted something easy to read since it will be so small.
Well... I guess I did not actually go through the fonts before I typed it. I think I was just so concerned about making the lightning that I overlooked that aspect.

Yeah, I didn't think about size limits until after I hit send. I have that font and it's not that easy to read unless the size is pretty big.

It's coming along nicely here. You keep the Jolteon nice and constant and shift it well. It's nice how the fur stays kinda rigid like a Jolteons' and looks really well. I love the thunder you made and how it further forms into words and then flashes. I like that squint you give to its eyes and how its head moves about.
The only gripes is that it seems stiff just before jutting forward. It's muzzle is a bit stiff at the end too I think, but it is doing an attack.
I'm not very shure what to say, I've never done an animation so I'm not good at commenting on these. ^^' But it's a very good first try animation, I hope to see more.

I'm kinda not used to commenting on things like this. I love animations but I've never really commented on one before...
I think it looks fine now, my computer might have messed it up a bit before. The only time it looks stiff is when it's doing the attack, but it's attacking so I can see the jolteon pointing/posing erect as the thunder shoots out. Sorry about my unsure comment. I think this will look ok when you shrink it down, good luck with the shrinking.
