I know this has been done many times before, but I wanted to practice drawing eyes, and explaining how I do stuff to others always makes me really analyse what I do, which helps.
I hope you find this useful, and that it's not too full of language mistakes.. Feel free to ask if anything is unclear, or if you have any other questions! And I wouldn't mind a link back here so more people can see it if it inspires you or helps you with a painting.

You know those moments when something you never realized before suddenly makes complete sense and you wonder how you ever overlooked it before? This is one of those moments for me. Yeah.
Particularly, the rings around the iris. I do the color dashes from the pupil, but the rings really make it pop. And the attention to detail! My word, this would take several cups of coffee and probably a true test of my patience to complete, but I am going to try it. (:

Which tools in Corel Painter did you use, particularly the highlights for the eyes, the skin texture, and the eyelashes?

I didn't use Painter, I used Adobe Photoshop, with the paintbrush tool for everything.
