For centuries, even after her face withered and her body turned to dust beneath the black soil
Her spirit lingered on, overseeing her descendants and the prospering of her lineage
She chose, that each night, she would watch over those of her blood, protect them from other creatures of the Spirit Realm
And at the earliest light of dawn, she would drift back to her earthly resting place, returning home.

Ususally, ghost stories are sad and woeful. I wondered if a different perspective was possible for the classical "white lady"-setup. This white lady chose to stay bound to the Earth to watch over her descendants for centuries. To her, the grave is not of sadness, but a beautiful, peaceful home.
