Lovely aspen forest north of Jasper. The trail here was just opened the day before. It's one of the trails that is being closed every year for a certain amount of time because it's a breeding ground for elk.

I agree, those white stems have something surreal and beautiful to them. They just change the whole feeling when walking through a forest.
