Description
Lovely meadows at the tea house at the plain of six glaciers. Victoria Glacier can be seen in the back on the left side. A trail leads below the rock wall which offers impressive views. I know this doesn't look crowded but damn this place was packed. Everyone was having lunch here - either self-made stuff or stuff from the expensive tea house. They said it is a European-style tea house and I have no idea what they mean by that, lol.
The panorama has been stitched in Photoshop Elements 14 from 7x RAW (vertical), handheld.

and I was right, too crowded for my taste but so beautiful

There are areas around Banff, which aren't as crowded. Lake Louise and surroundings are a tourist magnet, mainly because foreign tourist companies advertise it like no tomorrow. If it's about Canada it's either west or east. If it's east then it's the Niagara Falls, if it's the west it's Vancouver/Rockies with Lake Louise being put front and center. Social media surely does its part, too. Generally Banff NP is more crowded than other parts of the Canadian Rockies for sure though.

Wir waren schon überrascht wie voll es da war - normalerweise nehmen die Leute bei uns keine 10 km Fußmarsch (hin und zurück) für eine teure Tasse Tee inkauf.
Immerhin waren es nicht so viele, dass man ein paar Eindrücke ohne rote oder blaue Jacken fotografisch festhalten konnte.

Vermutlich, weil es so beworben wird. Im Vergleich zum Ufer des Lake Louise waren es dann doch "wenig" Leute. Die Bereiche im Vordergrund waren ja alle abgegrenzt und da standen Schilder, dass man die nicht betreten soll. Erstaunlicherweise haben sich da auch mal alle dran gehalten.
