Description
Logo and Identity concept for a Gourmet Cupcake Bakery, a personal collaborative project between myself, Joshua Cubbin , Lauren Reeves, and Darko Andreski.Shown here are a collection of instore consumables and individual cupcake packaging.
Boxes feature a variety of patterns printed inside, and are natural recycled brwn card stock, overprinted with darker brown. Sticker seals are hand printed using gocco.
Also shown: store receipt, disposable utensils, sugar sachets, and coffee cups.
About 50 of these individual cupcake boxes (with a range of gourmet cupcakes!) were given out during the presentation of the concept, along with coffee in the Whisk coffee cups.
They were a great success, and everyone adored opening them and, of course, discovering and eating their cupcakes!
The box die was designed by myself, and a version of it can be found in my gallery

Do you mind telling me where and who manufactured your cup? Or did you just put a paper over it to put your design in?

Would you mind reading the last page of comments before yours? I've answered this question so many times now! Haha, if you have any further questions after that I'd be happy to answer them

How did you make the cups and what are the boxes made out of? I'm going to be opening my own cafe/restaurant and really want my own cup with my logo/cafe name on it. If you wouldn't want to go into length telling me, would you possibly do quite a few on commission?

Haha that's ok, my other answer didn't really answer the question! Yes, I made these cups myself as a concept, but there are thousands of supply stores and printers that handle printing branded cups every day Google can generally find some for you, or your local industry cafe supply business.
I myself am not in that business, so I wont be printing you several thousand coffee cups, thank you very much! But I do design by commission, and if you like my work I'd be happy to speak with you about your cafe logo and brand

These are concept designs, I made them myself with 3 other designers.
The boxes were printed, then cut to the die, and then folded and stuck by hand, then finished with store-bought ribbon.
The forks are standard bamboo forks from a shop supply store, gocco screen printed by hand.
The sugar packets are simply thin paper (60gsm) printed, cut, filled with sugar and then glued shut.
The coffee cups are cup dies printed and then cut and stuck onto existing cups of the same dies, as we needed examples for the concept but obviously weren't going to get a run of 10,000 done
And of course, the gourmet cupcakes were all invented, baked and frosted by myself, lovingly!

This is very cute! I'd never thought of cupcakes being individually boxed, but this is awesome! Great idea, design, and execution!

Haha tanks you! Yeah, but imagine trying to commercially sell cupcakes individually without boxes... you'd get mashed frosting, dropped cupcakes, and cranky customers...

I bought plain bamboo forks from a shop supply store, they're the same sort cafeterias/cafes etc buy And then I hand-printed them using a gocco screenprinting setup.

This is almost criminally cute! Your ideas are great - the presentation is flawless, and as the suggester said, the retro look fits in really well with the food. I love your color choices and the dots - they complement the coffee and cupcake.

Is this a real cupcake place? If so, is the design actually happening? And if so, WHERE?! I really want to buy a cupcake and coffee - and mostly I'm sold because of the packaging.
So, job well done. Indeed.
They're just so darn cute!

Sorry no, it was a concept design by me and three other designers, to try and work some of my love (obsession) of baking out of my system so I could get down to the real work of being a designer. Maybe one day we'll really make it happen!

Yeah, you could definitely sell this design to someone.
Who knows, maybe I'll commission you some day. I have thoughts and pre-plans to open a patisserie sort of place. And my graphic design skills are only so-so.
Oh well, I have to finish getting properly trained first.

To be honest I would never sell this design to anyone! This was a personal design for my dream bakery, which *crosses fingers* I may someday open myself

Understood! And if I were to ever commission you, it would be for something new.
Good luck on that dream bakery, the world needs more baked goodies.
