The composition is great with the path leading the eye round to the river and on up to the mountains. I so want to follow it! The vignetting is a nice touch, gives it an Old World feel

Honestly, I miss the old colored eggwacker... but I bet you've got it somewhere in you... What's the reason you've done so much black and white lately? Just trying to perfect a different aspect?

Color isn't gone forever. I'm sort of in the middle of changing my style though, so the vivid in-your-face type color I used to do is probably disappearing. And actually, all my earlier woks, I'm itching to scrap. I'm leaning towards more black and white now because it really effectively captures more of a mood; plus, a lot of my favorite photoraphers work heavily in black and white, so I'm just following footsteps. Color will return shortly, don't worry

I've always loved a good bend. But burned photo edges? I hope this is not permanent style trend... In some cases it's a good effect, but here it somewhat detracts from the optimism that is so kind and smile-provoking in your composition and caption...

heh, I actually like the darkened edges. I've done it in several of my previous pieces although maybe not as conspicuous. Thanks for the always honest opinion!
