This is absolutely fantastic. I love the idea, and aethetically it's wonderful!
I paint with oils too, but have never done so on gessoed surfaces, what does this do? I'm intrigued!
I've used Gesso before but never like that. It sounds interesting.

This made my burst into hysterical laughter for two reasons: 1, it's goddamn funny and 2, one of my friend's characters that I often write is a chain-smoking incarnation of Death. We always did say that his smoking habit would be the Himself of him.
