I have used New Zealand for reference before. Although, I mostly just type in New Zealand and look at a bunch of amazing landscapes to fill my visual library with-- and most times something in there inspires me to create a New Zealand -themed landscape. Haven't really created one like that yet though.

I wish I lived in New Zealand by the way. Such an amazing place. ;_;

Ahh I see . Well maybe you can ask me what sort of terrain you want then I can suggest places that have that kind of terrain . For instance, southern alps for snowy mountains, or Rotorua for geothermal things. etc
