Description
I have no idea what this insect is called but all i know it's extremely small "mosquito size" and very very fast, i called it magic fly cause every time i framed it in my view finder and shoot i look at my camera screen to find she isn't showing in the shot!, it was actually faster than my speedlight that every time i fire she jumps away leaving the scene empty before my shutter gets closedRelated content

how do u get ur macro shots to be bright? Do you use a normal hotshoe speedlight? Or a ring flash?
Do you also use extensions for your lens to get closer to the subject? Thanks

It depends on which shot are you talking about Ahmad.. as for this one yes i used both extension tubes and ring flash cause the insect was way too small.. but most of the shots were 1:1 with a 100 or 60mm and a normal 580 speedlight and a smart diffuser.. as for the brightness i'm not sure what do you mean by that? cause as long as you have a flash the brightness wont be a deal, unless you mean by that the brightness of the background.. for that i use the sunny 16 rule for macro which is approximately 2:1 of the original rule's value
