Description
- December 2018 -The sketch for this drawing is several months old, but I decided to give her some color last night. '41X is the 1981 Piper Turbo Seminole who taught me how to fly with two engines.
This was inspired by a conversation between a friend and I. We were comparing general aviation manufacturers to Hollywood's stereotypical depictions of high school students:
-Pipers are the weird artists. They're very quirky, but they're not in-your-face about it.
-Cessnas are the quiet nerds. They do good work, often go unnoticed, and are loved by instructors.
-Mooneys are the jocks. They're fast and good looking, but they're full of themselves and too forward.
-Cirruses are the rich kids. They're friendly, but they have everything and can be unapproachable.
...And so on.

Thanks. If you look through my gallery, I've used propellers as appendages since 2016. But, this one is one of the most obvious.

Heh. It should be easier for the plane to handle things. Do you think the plane can handle let's say abottle of wine?

They'd struggle to remove the cork, but they could poor it. The bigger the plane, the more difficult these tasks would be. Aircraft with propellers or rotors would have an advantage. Split scimitar winglets would also be more useful than other wingtips.
