- July 2020, Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, KBJC -

I went to work at a local 141 flight school for my first instructor job in October of 2019. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for me. The enormous program was nothing like the little operation I learned to fly at, and I was often stressed.

I quit flight instructing in March due to COVID-19. Eventually, I recognized I had no interest in returning, and I formally resigned.

There were four airplanes in the fleet which I was quite fond of: N998DW, N315DM, N2117Y, and N2168D.

'68D was my favorite of the bunch. She handled very much like the aircraft I learned to fly in, N65251, www.deviantart.com/eightyator/…. In an unfamiliar environment, she was a source of comfort.
