Description - August 2019 -

Saturn, the god of wealth, renewal, and liberation... A proper name for a rocket of such magnitude.

For years, I've envisioned one of these beasts as a fortunian. Finally, I've brought such a creature to life! This glorious serpent is an artifact from the Rocket Park in Houston. I remember visiting as a kid, and I was awestruck by the Saturn V. Fortunian sentience is somewhat complicated in rockets, due to them being multiple, distinct parts. Since this specimen spent its pre-animated life as a display piece (with all of its stages in the same building), it has become a singular, massive entity.

I started this drawing on the anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch (in July). My timeframe to finish it was completely derailed by life getting suddenly difficult.

I must admit that this looks rather a bit uncanny for me lel. It kinda looks like a space worm but mechanical somehow

But regardless you did a great job on this! And a pretty interesting idea I must say.

Hehe, I actually liked that bit.
I mean really lel, if I were able to convince it to see me as an ally, then no doubt I would have probably the strongest and largest sentient thing to protect me. No doubt that one would feel pretty safe cradled in its command module(if its furnishings and, especially and importantly, its seatbelts haven't been removed yet lel).
But... If I would somehow got marked by it as its enemy... Well... I can only hope that I'm not on the same land as it... If I am.. Well the best next thing I can do is just to say sorry to it as much as possible and hope that it'll reconsider lel.

No doubt that you managed to make it look very alive. You've certainly beat the challenge!

This is the most bizarre thing I have ever seen. And I love it!

Hmnm. I have a challenge for you. If you look up a ship from a fantasy franchise called Warhammer 40K, the ship called the Vengeful Spirit, I challenge you to draw that, as a living starship. However, it must NOT be Fortunian style.
Think you can handle this challenge?
And I agree with the fact that you describe it as a blend of magnificent and creepy.

Wow, I've never seen living fortunian rockets and it seems an interesting design and idea.
Nice art. Keep up the good work.
