So when do we get to see a bunch of revolutionary soldiers flying around in space?
Neat idea. If you fleshed this out with some good system diorama MOCing you'd have a really ace piece here.

Probably when the rebellion is quelled.

oooooh I see. That's too bad, cause that'd make a hilarious diorama. Mind if I pass it on to someone I know has done a crossing of the delaware scene?

Yeah.
The idea of star wars clones being revolutionary soldiers and vice versa. THere's a guy on Flickr who did a scene of Washington crossing the Delaware.

Haha, no problem! Maybe the minifigs were just too heavy... you could try sticking a small piece of polystyrene underneath to act as as extra floatation. Yeah, I spotted it was based on the painting of Washington crossing the Delaware as soon as I saw it... you should do Raising The Flag on Iwo Jima next!

Space, its huge. So huge in fact, that if you lost your car keys in it, they would be almost impossible to find... Luckily for Ratchet, Captain Copernicus L. Qwark was on the case. His mission, rescue the Lombax's one and only friend. Yep, without Clank Ratchet was alone in the universe. Alone... alone...
