Description Request for ~kazemoon ~

model used:

basically this is how I (and I assume most other people) go about fixing 'glitchy' MMD models.

when adding parts- 'clean' off the parts before you use them/add them to your model. (by that I mean get rid of all unnessecary MMD physics, joints and bones)

I'm not like an expert on physics or anything but yeah.

EDIT: I'm all for helping people, but this is a TUTORIAL. Not somewhere to post 'pls fix my model for me.' I can't handle all of these requests

I don't mind taking a look at people's models, but if you're asking me to do what is shown in the tutorial, then what's the point of even having this up here? try a few times more before asking me, please.

hum... I can't go to "enhance model", how to display it ?

I tried doing this, but when I went to load the cleaned up model in mmd, mmd crashed and wouldn't open it. I tried both .pmd and .pmx files, and both of them crashed... any ideas?

This happens a lot when you don't remove extra joints that used to go with a physic you deleted. Maybe check your joints tab and see if any joints aren't connected to two physics?

One of my models has a bunch of weird physics that show up in MMD but not in the PMD editor. They're not joints or hidden bones either, but whatever they are the end up ruining my model's tail. Is there any way I can figure out what's going on and fix it?

I honestly can't figure out this. I've tried to figure out on extra physics, but they all look necessary and when I remove one it glitchs the model. So I took the first part of the model that was glitch (the darn wings) and tried to resize it just made the wing drop lower and still twitch.

...Maybe the noncollision boxes aren't checked correctly?

I'll look into that, it's rather annoying trying to fix. ((I honestly just stuck to saving a model without wings, one with wings that have no psychs, and then the glitchy model

If you want me to look at it, I could try for you. I'm still a beginner at editing too though. But I think I'm starting to get physics hopefully. Either way I hope you figure it out! It'd be nice not to have to lose something as valuable as wings on your model ;_;

I am sure it'll get figured out eventually!

Yeah, I'll let you know, I really wanna try to fix it myself as I feel if I can do that if the problem rises with another part on a model I wouldn't need to constantly ask for fixes. ((Experimenting and practicing is the best way to learn))

But thank you for offering to help

is your model a .pmx file? I'm pretty sure this only works with .pmd files ;a;

Thank you so much!! I've been working for about a week now to perfect my first model, Irosan, so I was really confused when I loaded him into MMD and he suddenly turned into a glitchy mess. This really helped!!

How do you tell which ones are unneeded?! I clicked display bosies, and mine has THOUSANDS on physics, one that isn't even on the model, but floating around it!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SteelDollS In reply to MMDMaxine [2016-07-19 01:50:31 +0000 UTC]

If a physic is floating around and is not attached to a bone, it cannot work as a physic, so it's unneeded.

Do you know why, when you use a model for awhile, it'll stop letting you rotate it?

Hi, I have a problem with my model. Basically I try to put a motion onto my model, but when it plays the front hair which is separate doesn't move with the model, it just stays there. I have tried everything I could think of like removing bones and physics and it still doesn't work. Do you have any idea how to fix it? I would be grateful for your help.

Shadowsneak100 In reply to BissieFlame [2015-12-29 04:57:07 +0000 UTC]

If it's the hair, make sure the main bone of the bang, piece, etc.(usualy it's the top of a sttring of bones) that isn't moving is attached to the head bone. If it's bones are all in Japanese look for ι , that's the character for "head." (Sorry if you already figured it out XD)

Someone told me that isn't caused by physic, but material, broken code or something, I dunno. You can check that if you want here -Β www.mediafire.com/download/fgg…

I hate to bother you but if you have time could you maybe look at my model? I've had to do pretty much everything on it and this is the first thing I've ever actually made for mmd so I dont really know much about it and I've had to make all the physics and such from scratch so it's probably really bad ^^
anyway, my model has long sleeves on his jacket (that cover his hands and go much past that) and I'm having trouble with it. I finally figured out how to make them hang and such but, now they shake and are glitchy like this 0-0
I checked in PMDE and made sure that there were both no extra physics and that the sleeve did not collide with itself. then I tried re-weighting the model and that wasn't the issue and then I found this and this still won't be not spasm-y if it's no trouble could you maybe look at my model and see if you can find anything wrong?Β

Maybe your model is stuck in the floor? Try going into mmd and under the physics tab de-select floor. See if that works.

;A; THANK YOU
I was working hard on a model and I tried to use some freckles from another model totally not Akiharu's model and I forgot to delete the physics AND IT WAS A NIGHTMARE WHEN I TESTED IT IN MMD.
I had no clue what happened but then I found this tutorial and figured it out.
But I ended up having to re-do the entire model because Akiharu has A LOT OF PHYSICS as you may know and since we also used the same base it was impossible to tell the difference between my physics and Akiharu's. But I finally finished it!
