I like this journal type,
but why not a 6th color...

Red I may suggest?Β  Β
If so, I will slap it into my journal with no hesitation.

You are welcome to change the colours of the images, you will just need to host them yourself

Hiya. U.mm I'm really new to CSS and stuff and, well I'm currently trying to use the Black Wireframe Journal skin. The codes works but I want to know how to remove the insert conent here boxes. I just want a simple journal skin layout. Sorry if I'm being a bother. ;w;

So, click "edit with Sta.sh writer" on the top right hand side of your journal, then at the top of sta.sh writer is "file" and "edit" Β Click "edit" and select "switch to HTML mode" Β This will show you all of the code you originally pasted into the journal.

The first section should be where you replace your own links, then carrying down will be your content boxes with corresponding titles. Β Just work your way down the text to replace and add your own content Β You can preview as you go, or switch back to rich editing mode.

Yes only premium members can use skins, it does say that in the description, and I don;t have time to go round checking to see if everyone who comments has a premium sub before I respond to their queries.

Deviants can gift subs to each other, yes - or you will either need to purchase points or create a donate widget on your front page, or do commissions to gain enough points.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Elandria In reply to Gothalla123 [2014-09-26 10:31:47 +0000 UTC]

Nope, CSS, footer, and main content area of your journal, there should be just 3 sets of text to copy and paste

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gothalla123 In reply to Elandria [2014-09-26 10:52:22 +0000 UTC]

So where would I place the main content? When I tried placing it in CSS, at the endΒ but it didn't work....

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Elandria In reply to Gothalla123 [2014-09-26 11:04:44 +0000 UTC]

edit the skin, put the css in the css box, and the footer in the footer box and save the skin, once you've saved it the window will disappear and you can write "normally" in the main journal page - thats where you paste the additional main content.

I don't due to time restrictions, sorry about that, there are some awesome Journal Designers out there though, you should check out some of the CSS groups here - groups.deviantart.com/?qh=&… to see if anybody is offering commission slots

Why doesn't it look like it is in the preview above?
It doesn't have the low opacity box that you type on and the thumb feature

Elandria In reply to Coykat [2014-06-07 22:32:12 +0000 UTC]

Have you copy and pasted the text from all 3 files into their respective areas?Β  Sounds like you've not included the contentboxes and titles etc in the main journal area
