Apparently working on multiple packs simultaneously just leads to me forgetting to finish off stuff that's done...Other than shield LODs and promo images this set is good to go, I'm going to try and get it out there by the end of the week.

I don't actually know, it's simply a distinct feature of the weapon the design borrows from, the Arwen 37. [link] My guess is it's for weight reduction and/or greater heat dissipation.
