This is the first half of the short Animation Film 'Sleeping Lullaby' I did last year as a study project.

A Translation of the letter of Aunt Sophie in the end is on Youtube.
For the illustrations I had Carolin Barisch for the face and Nicole Radermacher as body reference. The pictures without animation, editing or soundtrack took several hundred hours of work.
The Soundtrack was composed and edited by Katharina Diederichs and me. The piano song 'Chloé's Death' which you can hear at the funeral scene of Chloé and later of her mother, was all composed and performed by Marek Polgesek.

Wow, really dark and emotional, but absolutely beautiful work and wonderful story. I got the chills when I saw the name Chloé etched on the tombstone. Mine is pronounced the same way but only spelled with the umlauts instead (Chloë).
