Man it took me forever to do this piece. And I'm eyeing it with mixed results, but that might change. It was hard to get a color-tone right for this piece. The originals wouldn't do. I was going for the grainy-type of look that old Cosgrove Hall toons usually go for.For those of you who remember Count Duckula, you'll know that it had some kick ass backdrops and art. All hand-drawn mind.

Hurrah! This was one of my favourite cartoons during my youth, and it's splendid to see the characters rendered in such spiffing style. I especially like Igor's moody, shifty expression - I imagine he's about to mutter something sinister to Duckula under his breath.
"You know, sir, that person over there taking your photo really wouldn't be missed if you were to drain him of his precious, precious blood. Oh, go on sir - just a quick bite. I can fetch you a straw is it would be of any help."

Count Duckula for the win! This was one of my favorite toons back when I was little! I have a comic book of the series stashed away somewhere, you make me want to go dig it out and mull over the memories.
