After the Aquarium painting ([link] ) my sister said I should do a painting of any of those fish individually. I like puffer fish a lot, and recently got a pair of green spotted puffers (the little guy in the middle with the black spots), which died after a few hours from some fishy illness they had when I bought them. In part, I guess I painted this to feel better about that, but I also just love puffers. They're like really adorable fat people.

Painted on cheap foamboard, with acrylics, while listening to French jazz.

when i was younger i was obbsessed with fish, and made a whole portfolio section that consisted of them.

I would buy prints but alas, i am a starving artist and looking for money myself. unless we do an art trade
but i will heart your shop

That's really cool that he digs Hawaii-themed stuff. I live in Hawaii, obviously, so that's where these silly paintings come from. I really hope you guys like the stuff in the shop! I tried to make the prices as low as possible. Let me know if you have any other ideas for stuff you or your young buddy would like to see up there.

The shops awesome and we'll be keeping an eye out for new works to come, especially monkeys if you're ever monkey inspired. We'll probably go with the aquarium or blow fish for now, his choice.

Thanks much! I'm glad he likes it. My boyfriend is a monkey lover as well, so I probably will be doing something monkey-related in the future. I have the one painting with the monkey in it, but the hula girl might be a little too risque for a three year old's room. I'll try to do something more innocent in the future.

I saw that one to but I think it is a bit too risque for my son, he's only three but I fear he'd love it waay to much and I am just not ready for that!
