Description
Audition starts HERE .
Here's some more information that didn't fit well into the actual ref, but all this stuff is actually PRETTY DANG IMPORTANT to writing and drawing Ammy in particular, so you maaaayyyyy want to read it if you're my opponent.
Amoru:
- They have a bit of an accent, so sometimes they sound a bit croaky if they get worked up. I usually show their native language by "doctor's scrawl" style cursive, but the only way I can describe the sound is "fluid frog-speech." I'll work on getting a real life example.
- Am bleeds and blushes grey (like the inside of their mouth) no matter which form they are in.
- They are just as, if not MORE likely to pick up stuff with their hair than their hands.
- They don't like changing their species a whole lot because rearranging your skeleton hurts. Human isn't that bad though.
- Amoru is not very well adapted to earth gravity, and wears out their body pretty quick. They can't run long distances, but their hair picks up some of the slack.
- Those marks on their shoulders and hips are gills. Water helps to nullify the gravity issue, and their a pretty good swimmer, their hair acting like a extremely effective flagellum.
- Their species are called Xolotin.
- Ammy prefers to attack creatively, forming their hair into shapes like giant hands instead of just overwhelming people with their locks. More Info/Examples .
- They usually "double back" their hair so it looks shorter and is more manageable in smaller spaces. It's actually about 1/2 the length of a football field, or around 50-60 yards. It's a shit-ton of hair.
- They have three "fingers" and four finger bones. It's an evolutionary fuck-up from when the webbing went away many generations ago, so their index and middle finger are kinda fused into one. They also literally don't have a nose. They can't smell at all.
- Species swapping is PAINFUL! Amoru is literally rearranging their skeleton and muscle structure when they do it, so more complicated creatures with extra limbs are rare, and will only do it if they deem it absolutely necessary. Once they change into something like that, they will probably stay in that form until it is NECESSARY to change back. Something like a human or an elf is pretty painless, and they are much more ready to use it.
- Examples of things Ammy can NOT turn into: dwarf, giant, object-head, whatever THESE guys are. Their species-swap tends to be more of a superficial change; it can give them hardier skin, extra-limbs, or boost their strength, but they cant completely rearrange their insides. Completely swapping around the layout of the face is impossible.
Morph:
- They swear like a sailor and are caught somewhere between slurring everything into conjunctions and talking like Webster's dictionary.
- Morph HATES being called Elf. That's actually their initials, and as much as they love the signature it makes, they will get very salty about being called it.
- Morph is a nickname given to them by some friends on the premise that it has absolutely nothing to do with them. They love it.
- They can see both out of their glasses and Am's eyes. When manifested they can only see out of their glasses though.
- Only Ammy can hear Morph, even when they are manifested. Unless you're a mind reader or something but that would be weird.
- They can feel Amoru's pain, although slightly dulled.
- Morph loves monsters. A lot. The more eyes, teeth, and fucked up anatomy, the better. Zombies are a no go though; they're deathly afraid of them.
- Will absolutely kind of jokingly flirt with monsters and pretty ladies or baras, but is very easily flustered so by no means should anyone ever flirt back because that will cause a MASSIVE MALFUNCTION resulting in a DEPRESSIVE EPISODE and SNARK ATTACK.
- Their glasses work as a sort of "medium of possession," so Morph probably couldn't posses Amoru's hair anymore if they where to get broken. If Amoru were to wear the glasses, it might lead to full-body possession, but that's not to say either of them know that.
I'll add more info if people ask questions.

Additional weakness: chewing gum.
That morph ability will certainty come in handy against a roster on who-knows what! Are they able to immediately replicate any new (humanoid) species they stumble across?

They can most of the time! The more differences the more concentration and practice it takes! Things with minimal changes are easy and painless, but things with extra limbs or other major anatomical differences can be really tricky and hurt a lot. Everything becomes easier the more they practice though.
