How to Fill Out the Template:
  • Catchphrase: Give a taste of your resident's personality in the speech bubble!
  • Name: Your resident's name or what they call themselves.
  • DOB: Your resident's date of birth. Provide the day, month, and year: MM/DD/YYYY
  • Move Set: In the four boxes, write your resident's Pokemon moves.
    These should be moves your Pokemon totem can learn. TM, HM, breeding, and previous generation moves are allowed.
    Ex. A Zubat totem can have Leech Life, but it cannot have Surf.
  • ID Issue Date: Lower left corner, opposite the arrows. The month and year you entered the group: MM/YYYY.
  • Resident Picture: Place a full body image of your character in the box to the right.
    You may draw your own background and alter colors as you see fit. Do not alter the Banner (The leaves and title)

For Writers:
If you are unable to fill in the template above, or feel uncertain about your drawing abilities, you may do one of the following:
  • Substitute Artist: The design must be your own, however another artist can draw your character for you. This art can be put on the template above. You must credit the artist in your description.
OR
  • Write a Short Story: Write a short story that gives a full visual description of your resident.

Name: Your resident's name or what they call themselves.
DOB: Your resident's date of birth. Provide the day, month, and year: MM/DD/YYYY
Gender: Your character's pronouns/how they identify. Ex. He/him, male.
Height: How tall is your character? Min: 4'0". Max: 6'11"

Pokemon: The Pokemon species your resident is.
Totem Traits: Your 2 or 3 traits that make your resident a Pokemon gijinka.

Ability: Your resident's Pokemon ability (ex. a Zubat gijinka could have Inner Focus, or Infiltrator.)
Move Set: Your resident's Pokemon move set.

Personality:
Positive Trait 1, Positive Trait 2, Positive Trait 3
Negative Trait 1, Negative Trait 2, Negative Trait 3

Write briefly about your character's personality. How do they act? How do they react? Are they difficult to anger, are they kind and helpful?
Min: 5 sentences. Max: 3 paragraphs.

History: Your character's past. The focus should be on your character, not on their friends or family members. Include why/how your resident is moving to the islands. Explain how they ended up in their current employment. Histories are public, so please refrain from excessive violence or lewdity. Include content warnings for sensitive content. Be considerate and research any disabilities, illnesses, injuries, and cultures well.
Min: 3 paragraphs. Max: 5 paragraphs.

Job: (Farmer, Rancher, or Businessowner)
