Tried out the art program ArtRage, which emulates traditional painting in various different ways.
I had in mind the green flash when a soul is brought back from the dead in Pirates of the Caribbean. I didn't do it the exact same way though, as in the movie it's more a faint flash than a huge shockwave.

Yes, the full program for one month is available for download, but they also have a free version of the program that has many of the same features

i havent watched pirates 3 in a while, but the soundtrack i amazing. comes up on shuffle all the time. Drink Up Me Hearties is one of my favorite pieces of orchestration

I'm working with a slightly used up tip too and I have no idea where to get a new one...because the brand of the tablet is..well..kind of unknown.
I'll just have to gather those 200€ and buy a Wacom bamboo fun M...it sounds like a good investment.

I had no idea! I thought it was based on a real phenomena the first time I watched the movie, but they're so full of fantasy, so I didn't think too much about it afterwards
