Congrats on the DD!
By the way, it's under the wrong category deviantART Related > deviantART Tutorials is for tutorials for deviantART... it actually belongs under Stock & Resources > Tutorials since this is a tutorial for art, not the website
Just so you know

You're having that problem because you're focusing on the lines of your drawing rather than the structure underneath. That comes from using anime as a foundation, rather than learning what's actually there (realism), and distorting that figure to fit a "style" (anime, western cartoon, ect). Every single successful anime and cartoon artist most definitely studied realistic anatomy so they could better understand their characters' movements and interactions with space.
Give it a shot. :3

Hm, one detail you forgot: women tend to have longer legs than men, and men tend to have longer torso's than women. It may end up being relevant to the sitting on the ground pose.

truetrue! Good point but I didn't add it in because I have a character with a long torso and she is female. The more boarder the more it can help everyone with any character type.

You should still go for it~ The crazier the poses the more you figure out anatomy I didn't study anatomy specifically, all I did was life drawing. But, I'm glad it'll be helpful!

I have a question that I forgot to ask in the previous comment: Can you get those type of books from normal shops like WHsmith or Tesco's or do you have to get them from Amazon? Because I got a Disney book like the books you have but it doesn't exactly help me very much.
