To an extent, I mean she's not going to be doing Kamehameha's like Goku anytime soon... I referenced Karate Kata's for her fighting moves for this scene, this might be a variant on the palm heel strike.

That's good. A Saiyan wouldn't fit too well in this situation. The feel of the comic would greatly be affected if it was with the direction you're wanting to take it.
