So yesterday I found the third of my kittens, Egon, with his head crushed by the side of the road. He died minutes before I found him, hadn't even started toreally bleed until I got him in, and was still warm, and with no stiffness setting in. Like carrying him sleeping. Now he is wrapped in the coldest room in my house, ready to be buried in my yard with too many others. In six months, I have buried three beloved kittens due to that fucking road, and a stray cat that just wanted to hide in my house from the elements, and my dad has been given basically a death sentence in the form of an ALS diagnosis. My mom would be devastated if she hadn't already died less than four years ago from cancer. And my first cat is still missing, presumed dead. I hate my life and envy the dead.Anyway, here are some galaxies. I fixed the math so that they generate with different tilts. Enjoy.

It almost seems like there are drivers killing animals on purpose in that road, I almost can't believe what I'm reading and I'm getting cold even thinking about it. I am so sorry for your loss. I bet the police is doing nothing about it, can't they just hide in that road for a week to catch all these idiots? Do the other people in the road experience the same trouble with their cats (and other animals for that matter), or do they simply keep their animals inside all the time?
And even more sorry to hear about your dad. Gee, I don't even know what to say, other than Best of luck coping with everything that's happening now. And know that we're always here to talk.

Oh, and regarding my kitten-killing road: The first kitten got splattered (hours to pick her up for burial) because some idiots do illegal races around here. They damn near killed me the following night out there!! I made a stink on local forums about it and it seemed to stop. But when the second kitten died, I became aware that streetlighting is shit, and even goes off entirely for hours each night to save money. Since then, my remaining cats were kept in at night. Which pissed off my Bastian, and after a stray also 'marked' my living room, Bastian ran away. Dylan, Egon and Big Charlie (Little Charlie was the secobd dead kitten. The first was Alex) complained but stayed in. Dylan and Egon simply started sleeping with me, which started making me a bit less depressed. But Egon got hit in broad daylight, apparently because some fucktard was texting or something and didn't watch the road (it's a long, clear stretch. Easy to spot a black kitten, but easier to get bored and ignore the road). Cats get killed like crazy on that fucking road, but nobody cares enough to do anything. And we barely have enough cops for daily needs, so no, they are not going to stop speeders, illegal nighttime racers or anything like that.
Dylan and Big Charlie are not liking it, but they are never leaving the house again, ever...

Do you have a garden in the house so that you can build a fence, maybe with some wire on top, so that they can go out even for a bit? My past neighbours had expensive maine coons and didn't want to let them out freely for they were also scared of the cats being killed by a car, or being stolen, so they installed wire around their balcony so the cats could at least get outside.

I have a small garden, but it's not really designed for a fence (too many weird plants from the previous owner). Right now, I am considering having them on leashes. And of the two remaining, Dylan and Big Charlie, Big Charlie is actually a maine coon, odd detail....

I tried a cat harness on my kitten when she was small, and MAN did she hate it! I hope yours will get used to it.

Thanks. I got denied financial support for therapy not long ago for similar things (my mom died suddenly of cancer in '13 and I nearly died, and am now literally permanently scarred, due to an inept doctor at a cancer test, I lost two other kittens to that fucking road and was more or less assaulted by the doctor that was assigned to look at my request for therapy aid. Not to mention that I worked with kids in Greenland for 8 months, the abuse and suicide capitol of the world), and when I finally got into a therapy program, they basically put me on indefinite hold, during which I am required to stay on sick leave, so my finances went from kinda okay to totally fucked in three months. So yes, I will take you up on that offer. Mind if I note you on the matter?

Yeah, you can always note me! It seems weird to me that they would 'force' you on hold at the therapy program, but the government not providing you any finances in exchange? Do you have a minimum income in Denmark like in the Netherlands?

I get a basic workman's compensation, but it's not that much these days. It keeps me alive, I guess. The reasoning behind the demands is that they only want to open the program to people who really need it, so if you're good to work, you're not in a bad enough condition. They flat out told me to stop looking for work, and it confused me AF, too! And we don't technically have minimum wages, but most people are part of some standard industry contract. The unwillingly unemployed just don't have the best representation, you might guess. So I seem to be screwed, until I can dig myself out somehow....
And thanks, I'll note you later. Right now, I have to get my bearings after talking to a friend who did not know about my dad and my third dead kitten. It took a lot out of me to just update her on the situation..... FML

That's way too confusing, even though I have heard of that happening to other people as well. Hope there will be a change in that for you! I'm sure you'll find a way to dig out of it, or a way to get out of that 'hold' position.
