Hah. An Edd sketch gone horribly awry.

Double D's turned in early for the night--being the good boy that he is and all. Can't sleep with all that wondering what his friends are doing.. and why is he so obediant to a pair of parents that don't show him the same kind of responsibility he shows them? Lots of things to think about when you're trying to sleep. But wait! His parents have left him a handy list of books to help him with his "little problem". We've got some books about insomnia... some Psychology Today magazines... along with some Good Housekeeping and Independant Living! Make sure your FEED that compulsive neurosis about hygeine, Edd! It'll distract you from your REAL problems!

Don't blame me for the angst and/or realism. It was late. Lord knows I'm not implying that the show -should- be any less cartoony than it is. Its just that I switch gears sometimes and really can't help what form a drawing takes sometimes.

Anyway... Not a finished drawing.. and scanned large because there's so much damned TEXT!

Side Note: Another interesting thing I find about Edd.. is that he's the most prone to personal style. I find it really frustrating sometimes. Out of all the Eds--or any of the other cul de sac kids, he just... he ends up looking (at least to me) very much like -I- drew him.

But its not only me--I mean--he's the way I can tell who's done a storyboard fore Christ's sake. From Wootie to Scott to Joel to Jim. Even with the juniors--he's quite telltale.
