That is one mean looking Ivo. I'd say it ranks up there with Spaz's rendition from the comic which is my favorite sonic artist. His was the closest to capturing the evilness that the one from the show embodied. Yours takes it a step further making him look more psychotic and almost rabid. Nice work

When drawn by the right person, SatAM Robotnik is perhaps the creepiest versions of the character to ever exist. I think it really adds to the sinister feel the character had more than any other incarnation.

I miss those days. 'Course, I hardly remember them because I was about 1 to 2 when the series was around. I really miss "Robotnik" too. "Eggman" is suck a retarded name

Its just really hard to be intimidated by a guy named "Eggman". Whereas Dr. Robotnik just -sounds- cold and evil. I don't even know what's happening in the comics anymore. Every time I open one up thinking, "Well, maybe it got better" they prove me wrong by seemingly destroying ONE THING I LIKED on every new page. There's only so much a person can take after a while.

There's an ep of the SatAM version (I think it was "Sonic Conversion") where Robotnik asks Snively "What color is my heart?"
Then he opens up super wide and makes Snively look down his throat.. To which Snively replies "I dont.. SEE a heart, Sir."
And Robotnik replies "Exactly."
He's the only Saturday morning villain I ever thought was -actually- scary. What the hell kind of a person DOES that?

I admit that I LOVE SatAM's rendition of Robotnik, and the personality they give him: he's not just evil and power-hungry, he's psychotic!
But it's hard for me to really choose between that Robotnik and AoStH's Robotnik, because the latter is so funny to watch and listen to. His design is so stretchy and squishy! And the visual gags used with him pertaining to his obesity are rather hilarious (i.e., the organ-playing scene from episode "Sonic's Song"). The expressiveness of his voice was awesome, too.

It always amuses me to hear him referred to as 'Doctor'. God! There's a true WEALTH of creepiness in that guy yet to be harnessed! SatAM did the most with it.. but still..
Did anyone else think it was mildly bizarre to find that in the show, Robotnik slept in like.. a bed with pajamas and stuff? (Second season, I forget which EP). I guess I didn't know what I was expecting, but it felt weirdly 'too human' for him. Its like he should have been sleeping in something... well, more.. evil? I don't know! Not that I don't like it, I always just thought it was interesting.

Well if it comforts you any, in issue 50 of Archie's StH series, Robotnik is seen having a delightful dream of waging war from the comfort of his stasis cell. It's like a big metal tube with a green tinted window in which he seems to be suspended somehow. (He doesn't use pajamas either, just the good old red on black with cape.)
