This piece was originally intended as an entry for Swain-slave 's Captain Amelia/Eric Cross competition but was never actually entered. In short, it is a simple piece of a very regal Amelia against the crest of the Terran Empire.

I really love the way this piece came out. It reminds me of imagining that Treasure Planet was an illustration from long ago; it gives the picture of the captain a very nostalgic, vintage feeling to it. It's really remarkable.
Treasure Planet deserves a lot of recognition. It could've been a greater film, but it already is.

Yeah! This gets me all emotional! Now I want to join the RLS and blast all of her enemies into oblivion. (But lol, my fursona is already dedicated to the Procyon expanse...........) It'd be pretty epic if you did this with the Procyon ambassador; make it like a recruiting poster or something.

You made her feature some how, soft. Realisticly soft, her smile tells me she is truely dedicated to the navy, shes happy where she is, and if you look at it like i am,she is standing a a somewhat curved pose of superiority, and triumpht!
This is an amazing piece of art that i am printing out to practice my tracing with.

Just wondering, where can I see the other drawings? I am a mayjor Amelia fan and try to find whatever pictures of her i can.
As I said, look at the picture right, theres a story. There's a story in every picture, even the ones that are drawn like crap. Everything has a story. You just have to look at it with wonderingly open, and free eyes.
Your work is so awesome. I am seriously printing out a lot of your drawing to practice with. And I may be able to upload the scketch today. Be warned. Its kinda....bloody.
