Description

For this Fan Art Friday, I present to you: the new Godzilla Extreme. These Extreme designs are part of a fan redesign series commissioned by , and Godzilla Extreme himself has had some redesigns.

Monster Assessment Data:
It all started when a blue whale had washed up on shore, bitten in half. Days later, the massive perpetrator had made landfall on an unsuspecting city. A massive aquatic reptile had laid siege and burned the city to the ground, killing dozens of thousands. In time the world came to know the beast as, Godzilla. The first kaiju, the king of all monsters, and the living lesson to mankind, that the history of the Earth is far more terrifying than we could have imagined.

Like all kaiju in the world, Godzilla is naturally impervious to conventional weapons. Missiles, bombs, bullets, all impact on the surface of his thick, durable scales, and cause no damage. At most the weapons appear to cause agitation and a distraction. The only way to make use of this, is to attack Godzilla with overwhelming numbers. If enough firepower is unleashed, Godzilla will retreat out of annoyance.

Aside from Godzilla's durability, he has exceptional stamina for a reptile. He has been observed in battle for several hours at a time, sometimes longer. Godzilla's first battle with Anguirus lasted 72 hours before both creatures called it quits. Though his stamina is impressive, Godzilla is not nigh unstoppable.

Like all reptiles Godzilla has a weakness to extreme cold temperatures. After prolonged exposure to the cold Godzilla will begin to show signs of slowing down. This was taken advantage of during Operation Cold Sleep where Godzilla was forced into a multi year brumation by being lured to the arctic and buried under rock and ice. If not for the terrorist organization Servants of The First Gods releasing Godzilla, the world might have been rid of him forever.

While Godzilla's physical strength is incredible, it's his energy based powers that put him at the top. Godzilla's signature ability is to shoot a super heated precision cutting laser beam from his mouth. The power of this beam can flash melt any material on contact, no known material in the world can withstand it. Only other kaiju can survive it (albeit with severe wounds and burns).

Each use of the laser causes a powerful EMP shock wave pulverizing all unshielded electronics. This beam was also the cause of the worst loss of life and equipment in military history in its first use. During Operation Sinker, 6 carrier strike groups sailed after Godzilla's first attack. Within days they caught up to him, and were annihilated by this beam in mere minutes. All hands were lost.

Another horrifying use of his energy based attacks is an omni-directional burst field. When extremely battle fatigued or wounded, Godzilla will release this burst field with devastating effects. The yield has been observed to be as low as 450 kilotons, or as high as 1000 kilotons. Considering the massive difference between outputs, it is theorized that there may be no limit to the power of this attack.

Current Consensus: With his incredible strength, and energy based attacks, Godzilla remains a constant threat to mankind. There are few ways to effectively combat him and win. The frequency of these battles are also draining resources and are now causing civilians to protest against due to the loss of life. Alternatively Godzilla has, on more than one occasion, been an unwitting saviour of mankind. In battles against some of the worst monsters, Godzilla has been a deciding factor in victory for the A.G.B.F.
