Robin x Reader

It was a late night in Gotham, and (Y/n) was walking around the streets. Her mother had given her money to take the bus home when she told her that she had to stay late at school; but someone had taken the money from her and she had to walk.

Gotham City was never safe at night, and (Y/n) knew that walking was the worst thing she could do. A teenage girl, walking down the street all by herself in the dark. How bad could that be?

(Y/n) knew someone was behind her, but she also knew that turning around wouldn't help her now. So she kept walking and tried to quicken her pace.

"If it takes a human less than a minute to sing, how long does it take for a human to scream?" The voice asked, causing her to stop and turn around.

There, leaning against the wall was the Riddler; swinging his cane back and forth with a smirk. "You should answer my question. Or would you perfer a simpler one?" He asked her, chuckling

She blinked and started to walk away. But, he moved his cane and used the question mark handle to pull her closer. "I-I don't know." She stuttered out, closing her eyes.

"Alright. What tastes, better than it smells?" He asked her with a chuckle. "You have ten seconds."

(Y/n) was shaking and on the verge of crying when his face got closer to hers. "I don't know.." She shuddered.

The Riddler tisked and used his free hand to grab her face. "Too bad a pretty girl like you has to get hurt. And I do say, you are beautiful." He sighed, rolling his eyes. "Tell me about yourself."

"I-I'm (Y/n), and I-I'm seventeen.." She stuttered out, tears starting to spill out of her eyes.

"A pretty girl like you shouldn't cry! Now you're going to make me feel guilty!" He yelled, letting go of her face and grabbing his knife.

(Y/n) let out a scream but Riddler quickly covered her mouth.

A flash of black and red fell from the sky; causing The Riddler to jump and pull away from (Y/n). "Leave her alone and go back to the crazy place where you belong." He spoke, moving closer to him while he spoke.

The Riddler backed up until he tripped, looking up at the masked teen with fear in his eyes. "I-I'll be on my way! Don't send the Batman! The sun may shine, but you'll find me where the moon shines brighter!" He yelled while he got up and ran away.

The teen then turned to (Y/n), taking his hood off and looking down at her. "Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" He asked her.

She nodded, trying to get rid of the tears that were running down her cheeks. "I'm just scared."

He sighed and nodded. "I would be too. It's not every day you run into the Riddler. He doesn't usually come this far."

"Thank you Robin. Thank you so much." (Y/n) sobbed out, shaking slightly. "I-I can't thank you enough." She told him, giving him a small smile.

Robin smirked back at her, nodding his head slightly. "It's what I do."

Before he could leave, (Y/n) quickly wrapped her arms around him. "Thank you so much.." She said as she finally stopped crying. Looking up at him, she gently wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. She pulled away quickly and blushed. "Oh god, I'm so sorry." She said as she backed away from him.

"N-No problem. Y-Yell if you need anything!" Robin said quickly as he made his way back into the shadows with a bright blush on his cheeks.

"Tim, you will not believe what happened last night." (Y/n) told him, shutting her locker as she looked up at him.

He chuckled and looked down at her. "What? Had a hot date and then take a nice walk around the city?"

She rolled her eyes and gently slapped his chest. "Oh shut up." She giggled. "I was walking last night, and then out of no-where, the Riddler came up and grabbed me!"

"God, what happened after that?" He asked her; trying not to smirk. "Did you see Batman?"

(Y/n) shook her head, her eyes wide while she looked up at him. "No, it was Robin! The minute he showed up, the Riddler left. I was so scared; but in the heat of the moment, I kind of kissed him." She blushed, sighing softly.

Tim laughed slightly, wrapping an arm around her shoulder while they left the school. "Are you kidding? You kissed Robin?"

Rolling her eyes, she tried to shrug him off. "It was on the lips and everything. Not gonna lie, he was pretty shocked."

"I think any guy would be shocked if a girl just kissed him for no reason." He told her while they walked to his car; him getting in the drivers and her in the passengers.

"I'll find him again you know, just to prove a point." She told him while they started to drive to the Wayne mannor.

Tim laughed as he pulled into the driveway, getting out of the car alongside (Y/n). "I can't wait to see that happen."

The two got out of the car; running right upstairs to Tim's room. (Y/n) crashed right down on his bed while he chuckled and sat down next to her. "Just make yourself at home."

"Don't worry, I was working on it." She smiled as she grabed on of his sweatshirts; putting it on and laughing. "Sorry, I was cold."

"I don't care, just don't like, die in it." He smiled, laying down next to her while he gently pulled her closer to himself. "Now I'm cold."

(Y/n) looked at him and smiled. But her face quickly fell and she blinked. Raising a hand, she gently rested it on his cheek. "What did you do last night?"

Tim looked back at her and shrugged slightly. "Nothing, just stayed inside and did some work."

Sitting up on her knees, (Y/n) pointed a finger at Tim. "You didn't do any work!"

"Yes I did! How the hell could you know what I did?!" He asked her, snapping slightly.

(Y/n) ended up straddling Tim and pinned him down to the bed. "It was you! You're Robin, and I kissed you!" She yelled, her eyes going wide. "Oh my god I kissed you!"

Tim shook his head; not bothering to try to get her off. "No I'm not."

"I could tell it was you! I know what you look like anywhere!" (Y/n) yelled, sighing deeply.

He closed his eyes and sighed. "Well now you know."

She quickly laid down on top of him and wrapped her arms around him; holding him tightly in her arms. "I don't care you big idiot."

"You don't care?" He asked her while he wrapped his arms around her.

"Not at all." (Y/n) smiled as she kissed him softly.

"Sir, do you think you should intervene?" Alfred asked Bruce as they stood in the hallway.

"Alfred, they should be fine. I'm not too worried ab--" Bruce started before the sound of the headboard hitting the wall cut him off. "Maybe we should have eariler."

Alfred sighed and nodded. "That would have been a wise move."
