Background: Alpha Ceti is a quite unremarkable world, a barren/desert planet which somehow supports life was probably once a thriving world once. Settled by the USM it was chosen to become a R&D planet after Nakai ruins were discovered just north of the equator, calling the Union in for aid the two developed the planet into a gigantic research base. With underground facilities stretching for miles below the surface projects are undertaken here which are both classified and non classified as well as technology and construction which is banned from view by any of the other factions. However while Alpha Ceti is protected against all threats the Empire of Capitol has moved to capture the planet and the secrets within...

Nuuk, I can't breathe oxygen. I can only breath hydrogen and carbon. I hate my darned combustion lungs.

Combustion lungs? They sound incredibly inefficient, thats like having a combustion engine in your chest XD

To most species yeah, having a fusion reactor in your chest is dangerous, but Inpentians developed skin cells in the inner lung that stops the fusion from harming anything. Inpentians had to get this to adapt to their planet, because hydrogen is the main gas on their planet.
And yes, incredibly inefficient, a puntured lung can cause the hospital their being treated in go boom.

I wouldnt put a fusion reactor in someones chest either XD

Yeah. But Inpentians reproduction system is much more dangerous.

Shouldnt that mean your race wiped themselves out if everything they do can potentially kill themselves? XD

Unlike humans and nakai Inpentias can survive and actually thrive on nuclear energy. It means that they don't have eat and they can just turn nuclear energy into organic energy.

Do the Inpentians have DNA?

Mmm. Not really. They have organs that retract their body into them so they can heal, so that is mainly their entire body. They are just animated atoms not really sells.
Although Inpentians can conjure children like humans, it's just not DNA. And yes, I said they used organic energy. They do because it is much easier to waste if they used regular energy that would mean they would have too much energy and combust.

But if they have organic parts then those organic parts need to use cells, and cells can only work with some kind of organic instructions hense DNA otherwise they dont function, and radiation ionizes DNA and destroys it hense killing the cell.
And for children you have to let cells divide to create a child, which needs complex instructions like DNA which again are destroyed by radiation

As I said, Inpentians create cells by destroying and reassembling atoms in the organ that contains all of the chemical reactions. Inpentian DNA is just chemical reactions. And not even thiamine guanine cytosine or adenine reactions. It's oxygen, hydrogen helium, and several other elements.
And i also said that Inpentians technically not living, just products of intense chemical reactions.
By Inpentians conjuring like humans, it just means that they combine two samples of chemical components. And both male and female Inpentians can give birth, only it takes around 104 year Earth weeks, and the males will develop both male and female extremities but only for they gestation period.

Ahh so they use chemicals mostly, they must have quite a high intake of chemicals and materials then in order to sustain themselves as well as create young etc.

Yeah. It's kind of hard to wrap your mind around, a lot of people were confused because I created non-organic life as my main species.

Well its not hugely hard to, non organic life is doable, however it definately has its downsides like all life

I tried explaining it to Devastator200, he didn't get it that much. And my nonorganic life has to carry out organic life tasks, like reproduction, growth, and sometimes eating. Also, yes there are some downsides to not being organic.

Ah not everyone does, I did physics so XD plus a bit of chemistry but wasnt into biology.
Most non organic life done is silicon in nature so a lifeform that uses chemicals in a non 'organic' way is intresting

Surprisingly Inpentians and most creatures on Inpentia (which are also not organic life) are boron based, meaning that their skin is almost as strong as titanium, but there is a downside, most of the time Inpentian skin is human like and it takes a ton of energy to become metal.
More energy than their combustion lungs create so eating is required.
