Side Quest

As the foals play together, you noticed soon enought that the filly come more and more away from you, taking Runa with her... It seem like the filly want to take Runa with her, far from you. What do you do?

1. Hey! No! Come here! You join the two fillies.
2. You attack the grey filly!!
3. You follow her whitout a word, you are curious to know what she want...

The wolf-filly seemed rather odd, the longer Hakon watched the foals play, the more and more she excluded Fell and went off on her lonesome with Runa in tow. He wasn’t sure whether Runa had a part in it, but Fell soon came up to him, complaining, “Runa went off with that filly! She’s ignoring me!”

“It’s alright, Fell, I’ll see what’s going on. How about you stay here with Loki for the time being. I’m sure he’d like some company too, since you’ve both been ignoring him in turn.”

“Ok…” The colt sighed, looking for Loki the fox and soon rejoining him at the curiously glowing flower.

Hakon, once he was sure Fell wouldn’t follow, went after the two fillies, he was curious himself as to what they were up to, and more so about the strange werehorse filly who seemed adamant about not sharing anything of her reason for being here. The two had moved over a small hill, and after a short trot, he’d had them in sight once more.

Runa, the taller of the two was obviously talking to the fleabitten gray filly, but from his vantage Hakon couldn’t hear what was exchanged, he soon relocated closer, using the natural rolls in the plains to hide his shape, and moving out of their sight until he could hear them. He’d gone to his knees, keeping his shape low in the tall grasses of the field as he watched and listened to the two.

The werehorse filly continued to hop around Runa, circling her as if she was still playing a game, and in turn, Runa moved with her, always facing the filly. When the gray foal would turn away, she would follow, and Hakon noted that the strange foal was indeed leading Runa farther away. Runa didn’t seem too aware of the distance between her and the small herd she called her home, and the other foal she was following didn’t make any hint of it herself.

What that could mean left Hakon rather puzzled, he wasn’t sure what she was up to, whether this whole interaction was just innocence of two foals playing, or if the filly had other plans in mind. Perhaps she just wanted a friend, and she conveniently never answered where her family was, so there was a good chance she was on her own. He also knew Runa was rather friendly and outgoing, so there was also good evidence that they may have become friends. Still, he was worried, all encounters he’d had so far with these odd creatures whom looked like horses, ended rather unfavorably, and as the two continued to move towards the edges of the valley, Hakon slowly and stealthily followed them.

The gray soon had Runa on the edges of the Valley of Mounts, close to the Endless Forest. Luckily for Hakon, if she took the black filly there, the stallion would have a much easier time of following them and remaining unseen. It seemed that was the gray’s intention so far.
