Great coloring, although even on the lineart, there seems to be torn clothing, so I wonder if this is a woman (or at least a person with a nice butt in skin tight clothing XD) transformed into an Xenomorph...This is suggested in canon with deleted (but restored in the director's cut) scene from the first Alien, were crew members are transformed painfully into new Xenomorphs:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6dSIM…

And in Promotheus, before they decided to alter it into way stupider looking mutation, Fifield would partially transform into a Xenomorph:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYnf6w…

In the script, Fifield even transormed fully into a xenomorph, although an albino one.

And you must not be ashamed, Xenomorphs, WERE designed by be sexual creatures, even the Facehuggers mounth resebling a vagina, and the Xenomorphs head, being intentionally phallic. And the great H.R. Giger himself, outright drawn Xenomorphs, and similar creatures, in erotic art (NSFW):

3.bp.blogspot.com/-fz8ggM1aY1U…

It was also visible in Warhammer, were before Tyranids became really important, Daemons had some Gigerific look, like Daemonettes:
1.bp.blogspot.com/-wP6SwaDoPAI…

Or Bloodletter(lower centre-right)
4.bp.blogspot.com/-sByNWF-fgQk…

(Although one could justify the above that the Tyranids constant reproduction and violence, gives ultimatelly the most fuell to Slaanesh and Khorne...).

I´ve collected some interesting xenomorphs from other specis in my favourites, like the "T-Rex Xenomorph" for example.

So many possibilities in theory, like whales and big birds for example... Or elephants, other dinosaurs, Lions....endless.

Yup, but it's sad that there is (yet) no Xenomorph Carnotaur/Carnotaurus , aka one of the most vicious looking dinosaurs, who may even be the relative/ancestor of the Heisei Godzilla .

But in all seriousness, it looks really good, you're definantily getting better at colouring. Wait, aren't all xenomorphs (besides the queen's) male? I feel really weird right now.

I hope you a happy new year

Actually, multiple sources state all Xenomorphs (including maybe even the Queen), might be hermaphrodites. This is why the Newborn Hybrid Alien in Alien 4, has malformed, fused male and female genitalia  (NSFW),although that was mosty (although not entirelly) digitally edited out.

And all aliens beside queen, cannot be male, as in 2010 Aliens vs. Predator, we seen a Drone evolve into a queen, with an unseen, but implied Praetorian phase.

The Queen Predalien, in Alien vs Predator Reqiuem, is also implied to be a Praetorian, not a mature queen, which explains it's bizarre reproduction habit.

And while Praetorians can be "young queens", and develope into the new queen, if the current queen is killed, some sources suggest that Praetorians, being Hermaphrodites, also impregnate the Queen.

Still, Slaanesh would be quite happy with this XD.

Thanks to giving me the opportunity to work with it. That´s how Deviantart should work all the time.

I mean, as long as somebody doesn´t claim to be the original creator of something, then he just coloured or changed a little and mentions the original artist, everything is fine to me. Even better, when he asks before he uploads it.

But all these people, writing "Don´t use under no circumstances because it´s mine and mine alone" and then putting giant watermarks on it that ruin the picture.... I don´t know. If you don´t want people to get inspired or even work with your creations (I mean non profit of course), then don´t upload them in front of millions of people. Or sell or even copyright them officially. As simple as that.

But most of the time, people even act like this, when it´s fucking fanart. Which is copyrighted allready and I guess that they didn´t invent Mickey Mouse, MLP, 40k or Sonic, that´s for sure...

Damn, sorry for the rant. It´s a wide topic. I better stop...

I'll admit I'm actually surprised by your genuine desire to double if not triple check with me that you doing and posting this was okay, it's a refreshing surprise. I expected people to just do it and HOPED they would remember to mention me

I understand what you're saying here in some cases I agree, some people don't want their work to be messed with in any way hence the watermarks, but as you say it can ruin the images, I used to use Dev Arts watermarks but with how big they are and how much of the image they cover? Little too intrusive so I removed them. However, the counter to that is it stops art theft, which I have been a victim of on my old account along with others in a group I joined years ago. So it's really a hit and miss topic.

See, when it's fan art, again you raise a solid point, which if you look at the top left corner of my colored version of this, I'm trying a new watermark that still, I feel secures the image but is not as intrusive, thus preventing theft but still letting the image maintain it's clarity.

It is sad that it's come down to this, years ago on my old account Dev Art was a very different place, what it is now? Well, that's up to others to judge. I do feel there should be more sharing! Hence why I started doing this myself, I get a great feeling out of seeing others work with my stuff and I don't understand how others wouldn't want that same feeling?

It's all good homie.

I agree that artists, that are earning money with their work, should have the right to take down and call out or even pull legal charges against people that steal their work to earn money. On the other hand: As soon as you show your work to others, and it is out there, people will have the opportunity to download, edit and even sell it. That is something everybody can count on. And looking at the size of the internet, this seems like something that can´t be completely avoided. To be honest: I guess nearly everybody downloaded or streamed music and movies before for free. Maybe not to earn money (though a lot of sites and people do) , but in theory, this is art-theft too, because you didn´t pay the producers.

And when I see people that go berzerk, because they notice, that one of their pics gets used as an avatar ot thumbnail somewhere, I don´t get the point. It´s not like this person stole your art to get rich or took anything from you. It´s more like this person liked your art so much, that he identified with it.

I do reverse picture searches with my pics from time to time, and it´s amazing, how far they spread and get shared, without even mentioning me as the creator. But then again: What can you do against it? Hire a lawyer that sues Facebook, Reddit, 4Chan, VK, 40kArt, Pinterest and dozens of other sites? While (even if he´s successfull) they just flip the pic horizontal or do minor changes to make it unrecognizable for image searches and the whole game starts again?

I know, I can talk like the great Anti copyright guy, because I´m no professional artist and don´t have to live from my (shitty and worthless  ) pics.

On the other hand: If I would be an professional artist, then the pic that got stolen, got sold already anyway and the owner or customer has the rights, so why bother? And if it´s a design for a print, then what should stop evil people from getting a print and then copy and sell it? I can´t put watermarks on T-Shirts...

Everytime pics of me, on which I wrote at least my name under the pic, got edited to hide or blur the name. And I don´t care. I know the truth, and that´s that I did it. And if somebody doesn´t believe me, I have the proof in my gallery or on my harddrive. Also, everybody that searches for the (even edited) pic, will see instantly, who was the original creator, so fuck fame.

Oh, I could talk about this shit the whole night, but I´m slow at typing and my fingers already hurt. Let´s continue this another time, my mate.

Yeah that's very true, from that point it's practically the same thing. Even if you're not making money it's still theft no matter what angle or argument you chose with it.

Yeah, I guess some people are a little over sensitive in that regard. I'll admit to being one of those people, using art I've found out there, cropping it and using it as a thumbnail/avatar picture. To be honest, if I discovered some one had done that, I really wouldn't mind, I'd be pretty proud that someone liked my shitso much they used it like that. Goes to show the different sides of the subject.

Yeah that's true, I used to do the same but now I don't much care, people can spread it about and if some one finds it and is that bothered, with a little effort you can usually trace it back to the original source, which brings us back to non intrusive watermarks, especially ones like I used on that Xeno work, contains the domain name so essentially you can at least find where it originated from... if you care.

Regardless of if you make money from your art or even if you see it as poor, [which I would argue yours is not, but that's another story], Having your work displaced by users who take credit for your creation is shameless and of poor taste.

That again, is a solid point and goes back to what you were saying originally, people will find a way to get shit for free or manipulate something so THEY can profit with it. In that case I would put the pressure on the theif, customers probably didn't know it'd been stolen thus really it's not their fault, however when it comes to physical printing, unless you hide a symbol or mark or sig that people wouldn't really notice you're pretty much fucked..

Well yeah, there is that. It's again, a very two sided thing to a pretty complicated issue.

Yeah no worries mate, I enjoy a good debate/discussion but this has gotten pretty heavy for a comment section. xD Another time, bud.
