Description Been having a pretty busy week but still had a bit of time to work on my dozer(just not enough time to dig thru photos/edit/write and post) anyways here is the dozer with some paint, weathering and couple washes. still got more weathing to do on this beast, but for now i can put this hull away and work on the mountian of other stuff i gotta get done for the dozer. have a box of fully painted parts as well but now i am waiting on whats left to proceed.

So whats left? a tonnage. stowage set, figurines, tiny details, guns, and all the fun stuff i need to get the track on. still unsure about the claw that goes on the back of the bulldozer. i have it primed but it makes the kit even bigger(harder to display) have been thinking about just bashing it for all its fun parts. i could see using all the hydraulics for something better in the future.

anywho i still got a ton, but with the holidays i got a bit of free time coming up(and not waking up as early) i hope to get it finished up by next weekend.

As always questions comments, and suggestions are welcome.

its been fun but an uphill battle. soooo freaking much stuff to paint and weather(even in this shot alot was painted/weathered then glued on) the load of stowage is taking me forever XD but i am half done that and have a box with fully painted stuff. so after figurines and stowage it will just be tracks and mud.

lol yea i didn't know what to really do, so teeth it was! think it worked out. it needs some mud and maybe some blood XD

I currently struggling with the ZTZ99 tank.....I....sorta tried to "make the camo look better" and now its a bit messed up *walk of shame* but its fine now, still not happy though -_- at this point I don't care I need to get started on those tracks cause I wanna finish this by Christmas

enc86 In reply to Tank-Dragon [2014-12-22 14:06:23 +0000 UTC]

ahhh, sure its not that bad and no need for a walk of shame. sure once you get a wash on, it will look fine.

yea times running out and tracks can be super time consuming.

I'll cover the "bad" parts with stowage XD

I'm not gonna do all the tracks, probably just the bottom if I am running out of time

good call, i have been known to do that myself XD
when in doubt, cover it with something!

yea tracks and time, never enough. i had wanted to finish my build by the holiday, but that really is not going to happen. the best i can hope for is by the weekend at this point(even then it will be close) gonna try to finish up the stowage today, then its on to the figures and all the junk i need to get the tracks on.

In the real World, the claw(s) are used for breaking up hard surfaces behind the machine, and I can see this thing possibly having a use for that capability. The choice is yours, but at least there's a practical rationale for fitting it and the arm.

Also, I love the control cabin, although most real-World armour paints interiors in white, silver or pale grey because they show up oil/hydraulic leaks best.

enc86 In reply to paws4thot [2014-12-21 14:23:24 +0000 UTC]

yea i know what they are used for(been around civilian dozers ) i still haven't decided, at least i made it so the hydraulics/claw just clip on and off. so even if i finish i can add it at a latter date.

yea i know lol this was a what will look kool kinda situation. figured interior green would give it some pop.
