my finished 1/35 tank and mech side by side. these too are gonna go into an upcoming diorama i am working on.i tried to get them colored as close as possible, but do to random stuff(my weather and primer) the mech is a little more beat up than the tank. the mech might get some more details once i have the diorama all set up. and the tank and mech are still pose-able, so there poses and setup still might change.
now i got to get working on the figurines, so say tuned for the finished diorama.

yea i dont think i ever got around to making a diorama for the merk(the mech did i think) by this point both models were traded.

it was awhile back i built this but yea it was an automated bot mech. maybe hooked up to some fancy AI, or at least that was my thinking.

the limitations of the ps1 actually help the design of rex quite a lot

metal gear solid: the classic and just a awesome game
Metal gear solid 2 : wtf, an dwho the fuck is this kid. lol anyways the gameplay is nice but the story...wtf
Metal gear solid 3: this is my fav of all the games but yea no true metal gear so yea
Metal gear solid 4: wow,just wow. really awesome game and my second fav
Metal gear pecewalker: pretty awesome game, but didn't feel like metal gear.
and Metal gear Revengence?: don't really know how i feel about this one. loved bayonetta but don't know how this will work for a metal gear game, plus it looks like they are messing with the timeline and story. i don't like that, but well see if they can make a good one.

solid was psuedo realisitc and then it veered off in to wacky land

lol yea 2 was very wacky! then again i felt that 3 was still in line with one. 4 was a good mixture of both and brought closure to the SOLID series.i was touched by some of the moments in that game, and games very rarely touch me. plus they kinda redeemed raiden and made him very very badass.

ohh man that mad me mad, and still does. i played thro it quite recently and i was still mad! and when you look at the solid series as a whole its the story of snake, and two really doesn't add anything to the series except for the whole patriots thing.

yea totally. batshit is right. i still don't even relay know what they were going for. plus the end is all fucked up. they had to remove a ton of it because of 9/11. so it makes little to no seance. maybe if we got to see it in its orgianl form it would of been comprehensible. lol in the end the whole series has taken me a ton of time to understand, its probably one of the most complex story's in gaming history.

as for the story, i love it! its not only complex but deep and has great subtext. the whole solid saga is just awesome, i am hard pressed to think of any game series story as epic. 4 really hits the whole series home.
other than 2, i think kojima devers his big head.
