Entry to the *pokedorks Ability competition...My choice was Vaporeon's Water Absorb: When hit with a water attack, the Pokemon regains HP instead of losing it.
Very convenient.
~ It gained me my very first Pokedorks competition win! Thanks you guys~

Ugh, i have feraligatr in soulsilver, and it seems like every time i try to use surf on another water type, (it's his most powerful move usually) they have water absorb and it does nOTHING. >:C it is a damn good ability if your opponent doesn't realize your pokemon has it.
come to think of it, that feraligator is using surf isn't he? pretty damn epic.

xD That's why you don't use Surf on another water type: also remember that Feraligatr is an attacker, not a sp.attacker, so a good Slash or Crunch would get rid of anything in its way~

it was back when i just had bite, ice fang, and watergun. NOW i get it right with Crunch and slash

Unfortunately I couldn't get any decent physical attacks. and i figured between the high power of the move plus stab it would at least be mildly affective.
X| and it usually worked in hoenn using surf with my swampert against water types. :l

I like how you look and show Pokemon on your arts. So...realistic.
Water Absorb + Aqua Ring + Leftovers + partner pokemon with a water attack (recommented Surf) = unstopable Vaporeon during double/triple battles.
