Description
Entry to the *pokedorks Ability competition...My choice was Vaporeon's Water Absorb: When hit with a water attack, the Pokemon regains HP instead of losing it.
Very convenient.
~ It gained me my very first Pokedorks competition win! Thanks you guys~
That water was fuuuunnn to do 8D See, looks nothing like the WIP now

Well, there's a WIP here for some of the basic stuff I did...[link]
I use Photoshop 5.5 and a tablet xD And it takes a lot of time to get details like textures into the shading. I never use custom brushes; I use the soft round brushes for shading, sometimes only 3 pixels wide if I want details like the water droplets and stuff.

I use custom brushes a little (like in the flames of my few pics), but usually I prefer the soft brush too. You can just create so much more with it, if you know how to use it ^^ But it requires a hell of a lot patience to make all the details with it. I surely give you credit for having it

I really do like this pic. It looks like one of the awesome slow-mo parts during "The Matrix." The poses make it look like this is a very fast and intense battle.
