Horrible. Horrible. Title.This was another half-finished drawing from a month or so ago I never bothered to finish until this morning.
She's not a fan character or anything, but I keep imagining her as some sort of juvenile Control Brain or something. Or mind controller. Controlling something, I dunno!
I experimented a bit with glitter, and oh-boy, do I adore glitter
Mainly on her cheeks, chin, the eye-cavity-thingies, and the helmet. I don't get the deal with the antennae, but I imagined them flipped over her face like that. Or the halo. Just something surreal and pretty really!Self Critique - I personally loathe drawing realistic mouths, and I still am not getting that lusture I was hoping for. I need to work on shading faces a little more, and I also worked out since Irkens don't have noses, they wouldn't have philtrums, meaning they wouldn't have the mini "indent" on their top lip. Gwaaaaaahhh. Oh well.
I need to try and get the nerve to try more masculine faces. Drawing guys.. I find that embarrassing still, I suppose
Oh, I also got lazy on the shading and highlights and didn't bother checking for how things reflected and bounced. I need to go study anyway.

in the background I mean. Did really good job on the background looks almost like the Irken is in some sort of long forgotten place with the faded letters on the wall giving it really old & forgotten look to it. Nice Work!

Theres allot of shading in this 1 as well as what looks almost like well blended and partially faded inter-grated shape designs....Excellent Enigma!

This is interesting nonetheless I thought it was an Irken with an invisible hat or something like that. This is really amazing though, it's very glittery and shiny and it's just wow! It's also very dynamic which I really love! he lips give off this frosty lustre and so does the whole deviation!
I don't understand why a lot of female artists have trouble drawing male characters. Here's a tip, masculine faces are rigid and so is the whole of the male anatomy, it can be easily constructed by using straight lines especially for the face and torso. Drawing guys isn't embarrassing to me 
But really I thoroughly enjoy the technique you've used here I really don't know how you do it! But I've just noticed something at the bottom of the anttenae those pink bands, they seem to be affected slightly by the digital effects. No matter it is a very well done piece all in all!

I've been sleeping in a very uncomfortably cold room every day since the cold snap came in XD My inspiraton for all these frosty-cold pictures lately maybe?
I think it depends on who you are.
But for me.. well, I am quite shy in real life and make sure I don't catch myself looking at guys for too long, so I can't really reference much from them.

Oh yes, I know about that hip thing. I'm so tempted to draw hips at times ebcause I just looooove curving lines, it's like with hair. I'll try to get out of that habbit
