REMIND you, this is not another Lion Theme for windows
This theme will provide you:

..best fonts + best icons (i've tried a lot of Lion Themes here and a lot failed on these)
..theme was made for everyday use
..improved compatibility (tested it on several computers and found no problems at all)

If you like the Close Button (x) to be closer at the edge, please use
Windows Close Button Resizer [link] and set it to 1.5 or 1.6
Best if used with LeftSider [link]

my computer does not support aero so , if i install it will i get the visual style and everything else ??

I tried to download this, but my Antivirus flagged it with this: Win32.Troj.kcloud.bm.gen I couldn't find much via search, so do you know what it is? False positive?

its definitely a false positive..
the exe file is just a Self-Extract WINRAR and having a .bat file to run after..(you can extract the contents of the exe using winrar to check for viruses)
you're good to go as long as your system is 32bit...

I thought it would be a false positive. Only my Kingsoft AV flagged it. MSE didn't, nor did 33 out of 36 AVs on virustotal.com. I just wanted to run it by you since no other commenter said they had the same issue. I didn't want to get a download that was somehow modified with a virus from a hacker or something. Anyway I downloaded it, and extracted the rar since I'm running 64x. The theme installed perfectly, and I love it. I also submitted the file to Kingsoft as a false positive. Thank you.

Hi Chris,
I installed the pack but i don't get a theme of Lion. Instead i can only see the Classic Windows 98 style on my computer. I tried going to Personalize and Change the theme but all i get is a Win 98 style Windows. Any pointers on where i might have gone wrong ?

have you patched you Windows 7 with the theme patcher..
do it first
after that, restart your system then install

Eagerly waiting for the black version.
I have a question though. I didn't install the theme with the automatic installer. I extracted it's contents and replaced the system files manually, not all the files though. The shell32.dll file in the themepack has version 6.1.7601.17514 while the shell32.dll present on my system is of version 6.1.7601.17859. Will it be safe to replace my shell32.dll with the one provided with the theme?

as far as i know, it is compatible as long as you are using Windows 7 x86 Service Pack,
probably yours is just an update,
but if you're really cautious, you will need to create a RESTORE point, and have an available Windows 7 DVD at hand..
i had turned my updates since last year..

Had no option other than being cautious. I messed up my system once.
Could you please tell me what exactly does shell32.dll change in the system? As far as I know, it changes something in the control panel, maybe the left panel. Anything else I'm missing? If it doesn't to anything major I might skip replacing this one.
Btw, the screenshot of the black version looks great. I'm willing to try it out soon.

yup, me too..
but if you have a boot cd/usb with you, its easy to fix. you can just restore a file if anything goes wrong, a simple copy and paste would do, even a simple restore or startup repair will do
just create a system restore..and trust me..
tried this on different PC's..
(actually that's the hardest part on making this theme, even more complicated in my another theme called Dockbar7)
with the installer, it automatically creates a backup, so you dont need to worry about that

for the shell32.dll it contains some of the very small icons..the one's when you are saving a file, then there's a different window that pops out.
i think even its corrupted windows will still be able to run, have tried it before
but if still you're afraid, you dont need to install that..cause it would not really affect the oveall appearance of the theme, just when you're working on your PC that you'll notice
but of course NO GUTS NO GLORY ..

this is a masterpiece but unfortunately is overshadowed by its lack of compatibility with x64
64x is more currently used

still, the Visual Style can be use for x64
They would just need to find some Lion icon packs, orbs and explorerframe..and that's all set
