Thank you. Yes, it wanted to be simple. I thought about what else to add and nothing felt right. I tried different textures and nothing looked right. I am very glad you like it.

I was just looking at this again in my faves and noticed how the blue and whites fade into kinda like a yin and yang .It would be realy "cool" lol if you show me how you did that ice texture nudge, nudge !! lol later

Honestly....I couldnt even show myself how I do textures again. I just try different things and see what works. Lots of layers and color filters. I would be a horrible teacher.

A blanket of snow and that amazing blue sea...and this is from a song? I'd love to know the rest of the lyrics.
It's an uncomplicated piece at first glance, but really it's not so simple...the shards of ice, her drape of snow, the way the sea laps at the edge of the snow 'beach', the horizon, the sky...each layer has to be added just right or it looks forced. This looks natural, smooth...Very well done!
This would make an awesome CD cover!

A group called Gypsy Soul. Although the song has been done many times...umm...its been re-done many times. Everyone changes the lyrics and adds to it. But I have only heard their version.

I don't want to get stuck into just doing pretty backgrounds with a pretty girl and blah blah...lol. Thanks for the compliments on this. I like how it turned out. Bro as artists r we ever realy satisfied LOL hell know thats why we dont have one great piece we keep trying to go further with each one.we both know we could be doing like anime stuff with such ease and have like 30,000 views each day and stuff lol but thats to easy.the first piece I ever faved of yours is still my favorite you realy captured something there maybe go back and visit with that piece cuz I see alot of an amazing style developing but thats just my opinion I guess I never asked what you thought about that work u might not have the atachment to it like I do anyways take care!
