Howdy:

The figure 12 looks like it should be showing an envelope for RES, but it's showing the default envelope for VOL, which isn't enabled.

Great set of tutorials!

Thanks!

I wouldn't know, I wrote these things 4 years ago.

Hey great tutorial

But quit saying how "old" it is. Sytrus is one of the best digital synths out right now. Professionals do use it, just look at SeamlessR.

Take it as a compliment that people find your tutorial very valuable in learning how to use Sytrus.

Cheers,

Peter

Sytrus IS old. That is a fact. It is an old synth. These tutorials are also old.

It's old...So what. It's still one of the best synths out there.

Hey are you really a photographer? Is your music still going strong?

Nowhere did I imply that it isn't a good synth, I just said it was old.

I do photography as a hobby. I also do music as a hobby. Neither have been doing very well, lately.

Oh sorry to hear.

The tracks i heard by you are good (i think they are 8+ years old - Hells Maw was one).

I honestly thought you'd be deep in the music business. You are obviously good at it.

I know it is a very competitive industry. Keep working at it! BTW you got any newish stuff i could listen to? Do you have a soundcloud?

Cheers,

Peter

I have no desire to actually be in the music industry. I am, at best, okay-ish at making music. People who actually get paid to make music are leagues better than me. I have other things I want to do with my time.

My soundcloud is here: soundcloud.com/blackhole12

Hello, I am trying this tutorial and I am on the synth at the bottom of the page, starting at figure 29

For some reason I can't get any sound, but I notice in your synth you get sound. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I followed to a T. maybe it is my program.

Thank you.

Jeff

On figure 29, the synth is not yet outputting any sound, but on figure 32, you can see that filter 2 is routed through the FX and Out channels. If you have done this and still don't have any sound, make sure that you are routing filter 1 into filter 2 by turning the Next knob to 100%, as shown in figure 29.
