Apparently my Epic Tutorial Guide remains my most popular tutorial to date, so I decided to redo it BECAUSE WHYNOT.(Also added a bit on backgrounds)

You certainly donΒ΄t need any Adobe program to make pdfs.
Even Open Office can make pdfs.

Excellent program for taking screenshots. More options then the built in prtscrn of Windows, and has a basic editor. Arrows, boxes and some text. Can also copy to clipboard.

You forgot to mention to NOT use annoying/distracting backgrounds for legibility, and it's best to have a good contrast between text and background.
