For me, the character of Snape can go so many ways and his personality itself can be taken a few diffrent ways depending on how you see him. He's one of the few fictional characters that I can equate sleeze, sarcasm, dignity, self-sacrifice, loyalty, pettyness, intelligence and probibly a few others that I just can't think of at the moment.
As for expression...he's got a million of them. All ranging somewhere between snarky and pissed off.

....I never thought that Snape could actually look attractive. You have somehow managed this, while staying true to the character description. o_O
