From chapter one of HP fan fic "Even Old Morose Bats Can Get Soft." I'm not a huge fanfic reader, but this one had enough cute/comedy to reel me in to read the whole thing in one sitting...and chapter one of the sequal. For people who haven't read it, the story takes place along side the OotP and starts off around the time when Dumbledore get's sacked and after the chapter of "Snape's Worst Memory."In the story Snape has touching issues...as in he hates people touching him to a phobic degree and Tonks has done just that and Snape proceeds to freak out. Now, there should be a salad bowl on Snape's head, but I drew this around 4 in the morning and just kinda winged it. Still, I'm happy with it. Love how Tonks came out. She always reminds me of Deliriuim from Sandman looks wise...
I know goes for the bearded look, but I'm more of a clean shaven fan. Like the story though, so I might have to do one or two more.

Fred's kenetic style is what draws me to his books and he's defenetly one of my biggest influences as far as comic creators go. Good to see some GD love!

Your welcome ^_^ I'm just happy I found another artist that enjoys his work. For some (stupidly insane) reason, I don't see a huge following for GD. I think Fred makes the "best looking" comic male characters I've ever seen.

Both Snape and Tonks look so good from the expressions to their awesome slothing design. Really cool. the perspective and use of space is well used here too. Very nice. Very cool.

Oh gosh, glad I didn't go to sleep yet but looked into the devwatch message center. I probably would have missed this for days.

Feel free to! Glad you liked it. Like I mentioned, I might have to do a few more since there were defenetly some other scenes that I really enjoyed. Keep up the writing too. You have a wonderfully....hmmm...whimsical and off the cuff way of doing it.

I certainly won't stop writing, though I probably concentrate mostly to my fantasy-parody novel and drop fanfiction (at least for a while). The sequel of Old Morose Bats went to hiatus last year when my hard disk died and amicably devoured most of the story files. I had hoped to continue/revise it after reading HBP, but now I see it's pretty impossible to fit into the canon.
