You know on repeated reading of the serries this part is even more unsetiling as you have a gang of Pure bloods mercifuly picking on a half blood because

Every time I read or hear that part on audio book, I'm like, "What?" I think the next line is something like, "Whether James did, in fact, take off Snape's pants, Harry didn't find out."

Well at least Sirius can be uncomfortable about somethings. Though he was still a big jerk here. If I had been there let's just say four boys would be rolling on the floor in pain, Severus would have been slapped (for calling me a mudblood) and I would have a peaceful place to study for the rest of the day.

Oh, Sirius was a big jerk! Kind of weird how one Slytherin, Snape, got picked on by many Gryffindors (very Slytherin thing to do) and one Gryffindor is usually targeted by many Slytherins during Harry's school years.

Hmm, well the switch might have to do with the mauraders and how they treated one house. Or, rather the future head of that house, James of all of them knew better, he could have stopped it but never did. I think that is why Severus hated him the most, because he knew James was in charge and could have stopped being so horrible but he never did.
