Description
I initially created this image as a background for [link] but I'm not going to submit anything new in a few more weeks and it wasn't bad enough to let it go to waste. Maybe you'll prefer this version over the other one. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the critique!
I like to think that a possible super nova explosion so close has destroyed most of the planet's environment, but yea, the realism of the planet texture was not my main concern to be honest.

I know other people are commenting on how the planet doesn't look realistic with terrain when frankly they don't know what anything like that would look like. All that we know are planets in our solar system, others could be very different. As for my thoughts, there should at least be an atmosphere to the planet.

Woa, it looks even better as a pure space art. Amazing nebulas, I love this pic

Great work! Very realistic and yet imaginative I wonder how you could possibly improve this?

well I think I could be able to make a few changes, for instance the planet texture could be a little more realistic and the nebula looks too much like real clouds and not like the ones to be seen in space But thank you very much for your comment, I appreciate it!

Why do you want a critique on something so amazing? The lighting is amazing, the colors and the clouds made me envious and I love the red on the planet! the different beams of light were a nice touch, making it seem more real. The contrast between the white of the clouds and the black of space is great.
Overall, on an amazing scale from one to ten, this is an easy eleven.
Nice work
