Do you remember me? I finally changed my username. Hint: I used to have a 1987
Everyone who played the latest Mass Effect game will obviously see the inspiration here. I don't want to start just another debate about the game, I do think it was pretty epic despite the slightly disappointing ending.
This image is part of Slashthree's rolling exhibition "World Exhibition III". A new concept with biweekly installments. The first installment has only six pieces, but they're all pretty amazing I think. O.O Check it out here: [link]
The scene is based on a photo I took in New York. It's the view from the Empire State Building at Downtown Manhattan. Most ofthe other elements are painted with the exception of the huge harvesters in the distance, which are modified models from ~dmaland .

of course a cycle can come to an end, for instance if you end it by force, which is the case here. It's actually somewhat a quote from the game.

Sieht sehr gut aus. Ich dachte auch sofort, ist das nicht ein Reaper ^^.
Dann mal noch was an Verbesserungspotential da lassen. Dem Reaper seine Fuehler finde ich nicht so gut. Sieht irgendwie aus als haette es nich eine so gute Verbindung.
Auch ueber die vermeintliche Diskokugel bin ich mir nicht so sicher.

dieses, das du gerade kommentierst? Ich hΓ€tte wohl nicht die Geduld das komplett zu malen, und mit dem Realismus ist das natΓΌrlich auch schwieriger, wenn man keine Photovorlage hat. Vom Detailgrad wΓΌrde ich jetzt nicht sagen, dass es unmΓΆglich wΓ€re, aber ich will mich auch nicht zu weit aus dem Fenster lehnen.

Ich ΓΌbermale halt alle Resourcen auch mehrfach, oder bearbeite sie so stark, dass eben dieser Eindruck entsteht. Es war schon mein Ziel alles einheitlich aussehen zu lassen, darin besteht ja die Kunst^^. Demnach ist das auf jeden Fall ein Kompliment fΓΌr mich, danke.

Ich wuerde mich auch gern so gut wie du mit Bildbearbeitung auskennen. Das gibt schΓΆne Finishing touches.
