This is freaking amazing!
Everything seems so seamless.
Do you have a large monitor (workstation)? I think every matte painters/ photomanipulator needs one... :L

Thank you very much! What do you consider large? I use only one monitor with 1680*1050 resolution. I guess there are much bigger ones around, but I'm fine with mine.

Maybe like a 22 inch monitor?
yeah I agree like just stick with the resolution you're most comfortable and unrestrained with that's the best
I possess a smaller screen so every time when im working on large print I need to zoom in very frequently to check the details and edges etc (photomanip/matte painting). Sometimes its kinda frustrating esp with my photoshop interface (the layers panel is small too, keep scrolling) ahhh, but i got used to it.

most people I know work with canvas sizes 5000px and more, which is necessary for prints, so it's hard to avoid zooming. The zoomed-out situation is actually the less frequent one at least for me :-D

It's fascinating to see where this started, and even cooler that the original images are all ones you've taken yourself.

In general it's very difficult for me to realize all my ideas with just my own photos, but this time I managed. And it makes the image kind of much more personal. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it!

I'm fascinated by other people's creative processes; as a writer I collect experiences, snatches of dialogue, characters etc. from the world around me and composite those into stories later and (hopefully) make them more than the sum of their parts, but it's hard to visualize that. You've taken things you've experienced, remembered in photographs and composited them into something that's so apparently more than the sum of it's parts, and it's really interesting to see those elements on their own. Again, I really love this image!

sehr hübsch, wie immer! Es ist doch immer wieder interessant, was man aus so ein paar Touristenschnappschüssen alles basteln kann...

Ich mache inzwischen immer extra viele, man kann ja nie wissen wofür die nützlich werden könnten.
Danke!
